Amid the recent meeting of the Nationalist First Ministers of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland and general discourse about the disintegration of the United Kingdom, it is worth considering alternative constitutional arrangements for these islands. The first option to be considered is a con/federation between Ireland and Scotland. While this Greater Dál Riada option might seem unworkable, it would be a remarkably neat solution to many problems. It would unite Gaeldom into a single polity; this could propel an interest in Irish and Scottish Gaelic languages, music, and culture. It would also unite Ulster-Scotdom into a single polity. Those who hold Robert Burns as a national poet, whether in Donegal, Antrim, or Ayrshire would share the same polity.

This unification would end the de jure and de facto partition of Ireland while also ending the post-Brexit sea-border between Ireland and Scotland. This arrangement could end the Northern problem as there would no longer be an antagonistic divide regarding the status of Northern Ireland. This solution could potentially command the support of the vast majority of the North’s population. If Northern Ireland and Scotland were to succeed in the Republic’s European Union membership, then all three entities’ current desire for EU membership would be fulfilled.

This new entity should ideally extend to cover Man, Wales, Cornwall, and Brittany; this would lead to a closer in-gathering of all Celts. In accompaniment to this there should be the introduction of Celtic Studies as a primary and secondary school subject as well the promotion of Fleadhanna, Oireachtas na Gaeilge, Eisteddfod, and the Pan Celtic festival. The inclusion of all Celtic territories would have the effect of extending the territorial waters of the new polity thereby expanding its strategic and economic power. This new con/federation would have twenty million people, and would be possessed of enormous oil, gas, and fisheries wealth.

While proposals by Desmond Fennell on this matter included England as part of his putative federation, the Celtic peoples should avoid this. Whether or not England becomes the Yookay – a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, post-national entity- England as a civilised country is ceasing to exist. The dysgenic fertility rate which pertains there, and its combination with the vulgarity of English people generally, means that even if England were to become an ethno-

State, it will merely become Ingerland, a country with all of the vulgarity of the English people but without any of their hitherto ability for civilisation. The term “Ingerland” comes from the three-syllable chant that (lumpen)prole English soccer fans use to pronounce England.

A Brief History of Ingerland

Ingerland is not a place, but a state of mind and a way of being, though the Ingerlish could be thought of as a distinct nation. Their cultural centre is to be found in Essex and East London. Its most famous sons and daughters include Katie Price, Jade Goody, Joey Essex, and Gemma Collins. The national flag of Ingerland is the flag of St George with the addition of the word ‘ENGLAND’ emblazoned on the horizontal bar.

Whereas England’s national pastimes include football and cricket, the national pastime of Ingerland is dogging. The national dress is leisurewear or anything Burberry, the national jewellery is the neck chain, the national art form is the tattoo, the national dog is the bully XL; and the national newspaper is The Sun; The national topic of conversation is not the weather but taking exception at EU laws despite not being able to name one of these. Ingerlanders are invariably in favour of Brexit though their understanding of history can be summarised as “we wuz an Empire”.

Whereas in Ireland there is a clearer distinction between the underclass and everyone else – the most conspicuous exceptions being Daniel Lambert and Conor McGregor, in England elements of vulgarity permeate their entire society. One can find mainstream whitetrash everywhere from soccer players like Wayne Rooney and David Beckham – who has been made a knight of the realm; to broadcasters like Jeremy Kyle and Nick Ferrari; from entertainers like Andy Parsons and Rob Beckett to Russell Brand and Rylan Clark, and from actors like Johnny Depp to Mackenzie Crook. Even their entrepreneurs like Thomas Skinner or university-educated people like Simon Webb (History Debunked) and Beau Dade (The Lotus Eaters) are horribly vulgar. When comparing any of the above with the quintessential Ingerlishman Mick Phillpott, one can detect a commonality of manners.

While Celts generally hate English people, hatred is predicated on a degree of respect. However, the Celtic view of the Ingerlish is one of total and rightful contempt. Therefore, the Celtic peoples should unite into a large, wealthy entity preferably as non-EU members of the European Economic Area; this could cause a cultural and economic flourishing. Additionally, the Celtic peoples should keep a hard travel and cultural border against England as it degenerates into either the Yookay or Ingerland.
